Kenya & JW: Asilong CHM Phase #1 Completion

Phase one of the Asilong CHM Secondary School, which JW has designed and funded in the same region as the previously funded water wells, is complete! We received word from the Kenyan General Contractor, John Nderitu, who JW hired to oversee the Asilong CHM Secondary School construction, at the end of May that the main classroom building was finished!

The main classroom building of Asilong CHM Secondary School just before its completion. Designed by JW architects.

John Nderitu (red shirt, center) working with some JW engineers/architects (well, and Mike Crawford) back in September before construction had even begun.

Here’s part of the message from John:
“As I complete the project, I thank our God first for his grace. Also I can’t forget the Jacobs Well church to have funded the project that have come to a reality. Also our technical team that have worked tirelessly towards this project not forgetting City Harvest Church for their contribution towards this project on behalf of my team and the community. We are not having words to say thank you. God will always provide you with all you pray as to your hand of uplifting the poor…”
