The Work of the People: Interviews with Justice Advocates

Screen Shot 2013-07-02 at 8.35.37 PMThe Work of the People “strives to be a holy disruption and prophetic witness that creates multimedia as a daring proclamation and moves people toward growth and divine vocation.” The site contains hundreds of short interviews with some of the church’s greatest thinkers and activists.

More specifically, several videos by Jean Vanier, founder of L’Arche, are worth considering.

Some good reads by Vanier that are shorter than some of his other books are “The Heart of L’Arche: A Spirituality for Every Day” and “The Scandal of Service: Jesus Washes our Feet”. Lovely lovely blog. Excited to see the shape it may take…. And, are there links to follow for these interviews with justice advocates?

Thanks for the comment, sonicleese, and for the recommendations. We only linked specifically to Vanier from that Works of the People site, but really most of the interviews there are justice-oriented, so start with Vanier then just browse as you see fit!
