Sermon: “When the Verdict Hurts”

As we mourn the tragedy this week where worshippers were shot down in a church in Charleston, South Carolina, we revisit this sermon by Rev. Dr. Howard John Wesley, “When the Verdict Hurts”, delivered at Alfred Street Baptist Church in the wake of the 2013 death of Trayvon Martin.

After listening, be sure to read the powerful article “The Condition of Black Life is one of Mourning” in our recent post.
